A cityhall wedding

Yes actually I love cityhall weddings! In Stockholm we are blessed with a cityhall full of corners, arches and greenery not to forget the dramatic water and statues. The building itself is stunning both outdoors and indoors, so it is a perfect spot for weddings.

Todays session was special, because the wedding-couple was the same couple I shot in the archipelago a few weeks ago, and because the priest was from Norway he was not accepted to do a ceremony in Sweden, but being a good friend of the couple they eagerly wanted him to hold the ceremony. They knew this when they booked me so we added today´s session as well to close their amazing wedding-circle together with their kids. Obviously it is not unusual to have kids around for a wedding, but as a wedding-photographer and to focus as much as I did today on family photos was different, but oh so much fun.

And their kids, my god, I want to adopt them all <3

Meeting up with my wedding couples is crucial! I get to meet up and plan the day ahead, and give all the advise I have been taught so far as a weddingphotographer. But also we take some photos, and it is amazing to see how very often they are a tiny bit uneasy – new to a new situation – but the best part is how very fast they often loosen up. A few days ago I met up with Anette & Johan that are getting married in september at the venue Wenngarn slott/castle.

We spent about half an hour with taking some really nice photos and that area is really to die for. Have a look yourself!

By the castle is the best spot for upcoming bride Anette

Ulriksdals castle is a gorgeous place

That look, you gorgeous bride to be Anette.

One can just never have too much hugs.. right?

See you both soon Anette & Johan, at Wenngarns slott/castle in Sigtuna!

Finally I got to return to my second home, Gotland, and I know it is suppose to be thanks to vacation. However I have managed to fill our days with photo sessions both in corporate spirit and family sessions. Not to forget I did also return to Stockholm and Uppsala to shoot Ingela and Chris wedding at Vasaborgen and the orangery in the botanical garden of Uppsala. It was stunning, and I can´t wait to show you the magic of their day. But that is another blogpost.

Let me now show you some of the magic of Gotland.

Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon is a gem that you don´t want to miss! Ps. Get there really early and it will be pure MAGIC.

This also is a place on the northern part of the west coast, we got  stunning sunset light, and guess who got the camera switched on! Yes me.

And then comes my favorite place in this world, it is called Norsta Auren, up northern Fårö. It´s a big dream of mine to shoot a wedding here one day…. *hint hint*

Wedding at Gotland

Hi there friends!

Today is delivery day for Nina & Marcus who got married at Gotland 18th of May this year. I am thrilled to show you the gorgeous collection of photos.

The ceremony was given at Ihreviken, at Ihre klint which is private property but with the ocean and sky as your backdrop!

Gorgeous to say the least! Dinner and party was held at Ihrekvarn! Which also has beautiful surroundings as a ruin and water.

Please check out their gallery!

So today I booked another ten hour wedding in autumn 2019! I can not wait for this season to start – and so far it looks as if my season will start at my absolute favourite place.. In the magical island of Gotland.

Did you know that this island is in zone 1, which means that anything can grow here… They have palm trees, walnut trees, and almost anything other exotic fruit or flower. Also the island has beaches covered with lime rocks and a fauna that is exquisite.

So names of  the places interesting.. I would say they are so many it would be a looong list but okay I will give it a try, check these places out!

Outdoor ceremony at Ekstacoast

Why not by any of the limestones? Or at a beach…

Ruins, Visby is full of ruins that are just gorgeous to have your wedding at! https://gogotland.se/gogotland-se/ruiner/

Besides Gotland,

I would love to shoot in Provence again… Those fields of lavender, hills and small pittoresk villages in the mountains. Any day of the week

OK, other then this… well I can tell you that there are still a number of places I would love to shoot your wedding at:

In Stockholm I would like to add a number of nice places such as

Dalarö skans

Slottsträdgården Ulriksdal

Lejondal slott

Ruin Retreat

Grand hotel saltsjöbaden

Ekensdal

Rosendal slott

Thoresta herrgård

Also:

Österlen

Öland

Marstrand

Just to  name a few places!

But, choose a place that you love and adore!

I have news! Big news!

I am adding value to my customers! From today you are able to book your fine art wedding package with me. Now, what does that mean…?

Well to me wedding is a lovestory, and as the romantic, dreamy and edit loving photographer that I am, I do want to capture storytelling moments on your day and carefully choose and treat your photos. The package includes the timeless, sophisticated and dreamy pastel edit and for the 10 hour package at least 250 photos is included, and an album with 40 pages of artistic photos from your day.

So have a look at how this edit looks like.

Psst. Later the coming week I will show on my website how a wedding looks like if you choose the fine art wedding or the wedding package. both my edits..

So today I have been attending a gorgeous and inspiring workshop for one of my favorite photographers Erika Gerdemark. Ever since I became a wedding photographer I have been following her highly romantic pastel photos. And today I finally got to meet her in person and spend an entire day with her. I also got to spend time with a dozen other awesome photographers. It is so important to attend at least one workshop per year, to boost yourself with new confidence, new ideas, and be surrounded by creativity. I also promised Erika to book a day for a kick-off for myself. Friday next week will be the day I focus on developing my company and change a few things. Man, I love my job.

Here comes some of my favorite photos from the first workshop I ever went to that Hélena Parmér was in charge of, in Provence. Yes I will post the photos from today´s winter shoot, but they will be shown another week. 😉
